Will I have any issues using a German iPhone in America as far as 5G/warranty stuff?

If I buy an unlocked iPhone 12 (model A2403) in Germany, will it work if I bring it to America and pop in an American carrier SIM? I'd probably be using it on a T-Mobile MVNO or AT&T.

I've looked at this page (https://www.apple.com/iphone/cellular/#iphone-12-mini) and see a few 5G and LTE bands that the American iPhone 12 (model A2172) has that the German iPhone 12 does not. Will this negatively affect any 5G/LTE functionality when using a German iPhone in America?

I'm also wondering if I will run into any warranty issues if I need to utilize it in America on an iPhone purchased in Germany. Would I have to ship it back to Apple Germany or would I be able to do it all thru Apple US? Thanks in advance for any help.

5G, maybe. You may not be able to get 5G coverage on a US carrier.

As for the warranty, it is not valid in the US. You may be able to get some things done, such as a screen replacement, but full replacement in the US is not possible as that model phone is not available in the US at all, including service replacements.

You would have to take it to an EU country for service/replacement regardless of warranty service.
