My iPad space bar will not work

My iPad space-bar does not work for some functions like writing an email?

iPad Air 3, iPadOS 14

Similar questions

Blue frame around email and other activities on iPad. Also on emails when drafting. A blue frame appears around emails and other work when I am on my iPad Air Pro 5. What? I meant to say which type of external keyboard are you using or are using the touchscreen one?
