Simple subtraction formula help for Numbers

Hi All - How do i subtract the sum of a group of cells from one other cell.

For example - I was hoping it was "=E11-(E13:E15)" but I'm getting an error message that says E13:E15 cannot be used as a single value.

What am I missing?
