How do I export my passwords website from Safari to Chrome?

I should clarify I do want to transfer my passwords to Google Chrome. I guess is what I am finding out is that iCloud syncs your passwords so that if you were on a windows machine Chrome could import them. Haven’t tried as I don’t hand a windows machine yet. Apparently this same process is not available on chrome for Mac so you are forced to open safari and copy the password out of it or use the keychain utility. It would be nice if it was the same feature and experience across platforms. Why should the windows experience be better? I guess they don’t want to migrate to chrome if you started using safari for password management.

Virtually every browser has import and export commands. Using them allows you to (sometimes) select which format the import/export will be in. You need to use the same format for both importing and exporting. If you have difficulty in understanding the process, refer to the software's help menu for detailed instructions. The only option is importing a HTML file. Any help on this?? I know there are scripts out there but what I am missing for this option?

My personal opinion: I do not use Safari (or keychain) and I would never use Chrome, but I would also not expect or trust that passwords would be entered correctly on a different platform. I maintain a typed list which I use if necessary; I mostly choose not to "store" sensitive information on websites (passwords, credit card numbers, etc) because data is stolen or hacked into frequently. I'd rather spend an extra 30 seconds to enter my credentials and not have my info exposed.

Can't help you there as I don't use Chrome nor let any Google app near my Mac.

I have never heard of Safari being able to export passwords. I use Firefox and it appears to have the capability of exporting your passwords.
