Sophos antivirus

Hi

I just got a new MacBook Air M1 and did a clean install of Big Sur. When I right click on a file in finder, there is this option saying - Scan with Sophos antivirus. I never installed the program so how did it get into the menu??

Best regards

The Brand New MacBook Air M1 already had Big Sur pre-Installed so do not understand what is meant by Fresh Install ? As for Sophos AntiVirus Scan - this software may have been downloaded and install by a sneaky method when some other Application was downloaded from a Not Trusted Developer website. Check in Applications Folder for an application called Sophos - it there is one - Remove is via the Developers Instructions.
