How do I get the $ sign on a bluetooth keyboard associated with an iMac?
iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 11.3
Go to the System/Keyboard/Input Sources preference pane and check this checkbox:
Then go to the Keyboard menu in the Menu bar and select "Show Keyboard Viewer".
Now you can press the option key, shift key, and other key combinations to see if and how the $ symbol can be produced:
