Removing halo lines around screen protector

Hi,

I recently bought a tempered glass screen protector for my iPhone SE2 and I’ve got halo lines around the screen now. I’ve seen multiple people say olive oil on a cotton bud works by rubbing it around the screen protector works.

Has anyone here tried this? If not, does anyone know if something could happen to the screen it’s self? And does anyone else know if anything else works?
