SMS message with passcode won’t copy/paste

I have 2-step authentication enabled for several accounts where I receive a one-time passcode that I have always been able to copy/paste from my iPhone keyboard. The SMS passcode still appears in the row above the keyboard, but clicking on it no longer copies to clipboard so I have to manually type it in every time. Only other support solution was to enable keychain auto fill passwords which I already have enabled.

Hello Stiggity22,

It would appear you are running into some difficulty when trying to paste verification codes.

When a verification code is sent, it should appear as you describe. At that point you should be able to tap on it and have it entered into the field automatically. There are some websites that have disabled the auto entry for security reasons.
