Why are the cards associated with my Apple Wallet compromised?

Two of my credit cards in my Apple Wallet were compromised, both with charges to “Amazon Prime.” I canceled both and a week later received replacements with new numbers. I immediately added both new cards back into my Apple Wallet. A few hours later both were compromised again with charges to “Amazon Prime.”

Some store or site that you are using the cards has been hacked. It has noting to do with Apple Wallet unless your Apple ID has been compromised. If that is a possibility see→If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support. An easy way to check: Go to Settings and tap on your name. A list of all devices logged in to your Apple ID will be listed at the bottom of the page.
