How do I remove the screen keyboard and use the slim folio keyboard instead?

Did you not get setup instructions in the box? If you look at the mfr's website
https://www.logitech.com/en-us/products/ipad-keyboards/slim-folio-ipad-keyboard-case.html
you will see a pic of the upper row of keys. #3 allows you to use/hide the on screen keyboard. That will work after you have paired the keyboard to your iPad.
