Corrupted JPEG images

I have after recovering all photo files above 100 KB about 3500 corrupted JPEG images. I have tried some free available software to repair these images but none are working so far.

Is there a way with macOS to repair these files or should I just send the files to the trash bin?

Mac mini, macOS 10.15

The files are corrupted because some of their data was overwritten and lost. At best you can salvage the uncorrupted portion of the image and save it to a new file so you don't have to see the missing portion by cutting out the damaged portion of the image.

You should always have frequent and regular backups. FYI, it is impossible to recover accidentally deleted data from an SSD after the Trash has been emptied plus an SSD can fail at any time without any warning signs. Plus with newer USB-C Macs you may permanently lose your data if the Logic Board fails. Something to keep in mind if you use a newer mac.
