I downloaded a audio book, then gifted the same book to a friend and paid for it, gifted same book to another friend and did not get it to her hotmail address ?

If we’re following the issue correctly, you’re gifting an audiobook and while on the first gift you were prompted to pay for the book and the recipient was able to redeem it, when gifting the second book you were not prompted for payment and the recipient did not receive it. Is that right?
