How do i change my payment card

If you just need to update the expiration date on the same credit card on file, it's a real pain in the a**. Unlike most companies that let you simply edit your current card info, Apple requires you to delete that card from your Apple ID profile, and then reload it from scratch with the new expiration date.

And to make it even more inconvenient, if it's the only card on file you won't be allowed to remove it; so you have to add a 2nd form of payment to Apple ID, just to allow you to delete the 1st card so you can reload it all over again! As crazy as this sounds, this was confirmed when talking to the Apple rep on the phone.
