My website was created by me with IWEb

I created my website through Iweb years ago and was able to add, update and change it while I still had the application. I have a new computer and dont have the app anymore. I am not that computer literate. Is there any easy way to switch my current website to a workable site without redoing my website. I would like to just upload it and then download it with the ability to make simple changes and add some new material.

No. Apple dropped iWeb over 8 years ago when MobileMe was dropped. It's a 32 bit app and won't run on Catalina or newer.

You'll need to migrate to a new, full supported web designer app. There are a number in the App Store. Most are theme driven so it would be hard to duplicate the look of any current site you might have.

One exception is EverWeb which has a GUI similar to iWeb's, can copy and paste elements from existing websites into one under construction and has a free demo mode that lets you do everything except publish a finished site.

Some app options >

(mostly tools) https://alternativeto.net/software/adobe-dreamweaver/ (Dreamweaver is another webpage editor.)

(includes hosting) https://alternativeto.net/software/iweb/

EverWeb and Sandvox can migrate iWeb, and as undoubtedly can some others. Sparkle is an app I’ve used occasionally, and that can import various websites, and was able to import pages from an old iWeb website.

If you’re tied to iWeb, and have an Intel Mac (and not one of the brand-new M1 Macs), then you can load a virtual machine hypervisor, load an old macOS as a guest, and boot and use that. This approach is more complex to set up and to run; running two versions of macOS, and the hypervisor app. But it can allow you to continue with iWeb.
