Apple Watch can’t update

I just bought a Apple Watch of a reseller and now I’m trying to pair it with my phone but every time I try to pair it, it says update required but when I try to update it it just says “update failed” and it says the reason is the internet but the internet is fine I just updated my iPhone earlier. So if anyone knows how to fix this please help

Apple Watch Update I have an older Apple Watch I haven’t used in a while. I just got a new phone and decided I would pair my watch to it. But when I try to pair it, it says an update is required. But when I click update now, it says it’s unable to update due to the fact that im not connected to the internet. But I am. I tried going into my settings and iPhone storage but there was no update to delete. Im not sure how to fix the problem
