No option to turn microphone on in messenger.

When it comes to app permissions such as the microphone, it will not show up in settings until you attempt to use it. So make sure that on the apps you are going to be using you have opened them and attempted to use the microphone feature.

If the permission is still not showing up after that make sure that you restart your phone and make sure it is up to date.

If you are still having the same issue, try to uninstall the app that is not allowing you to toggle on the microphone and re-install it to see if that helps.

Otherwise, you may need to contact Apple Support in order to perform more advanced troubleshooting steps.
