Hello can anyone tell me what the physical distance is of the 2 Thunderbolt ports on the left side of the Macbook Pro / Air.
For my MacBook Air (M1 2020), the port spacing is ~14.8mm or ~.5825" (measured from the back edge of the back port to the back edge of the front port).
I believe the both the MacBook Pro (M1 2020) and MacBook Air (M1 2020) port spacing is the same since external all-in-one docks that plug into BOTH USB-C / Thunderbolt ports at the same time (not connected to the MacBook by a cable) are compatible with both M1 Pros and M1 Airs.

You need to clarify which MacBook exactly, including the model/year released...There is a MacBook Pro and a MacBook Air but NOT a MacBook Pro Air. The USB-C/Thunderbolt port spacing for the different models can vary between the differing models.
Thanks for the quick reply.
In my case it depends the Macbook Pro.
Thanks for the info, this is helpful.
