How to adjust microphone volume on bluetooth earbuds

Hi, I have an iphone 8, and it's paired with my Plantronics Backbeat Fit 3100 bluetooth earbuds. When I'm walking around outside, people say the background noises are too loud.

There does not appear to be an adjustment on the earbuds, although I have just contacted Plantronics, so we'll see what they say.

Does anyone know of a way to adjust the microphone's sensitivity through the iphone?

Hello,

Hmm, many third-party microphones do not offer noise-cancelling. When outside, wind noise is especially prevalent. About the only option is to test the microphone using the Voice Memo app and listening to the sound.
