In my pages application, among the pre-typed examples of note taking, books - portraits, books - landscapes, resume, flyers & posters, etc. etc. etc the font languages are all written in a foreign language.
How do I change them to straight U.S. English?
I checked my Language & Region app in System Preferences and it says my primary language is U.S. English. Shouldn’t everything else be in the same language?
Apple uses the Latin Lorem Ipsum text as filler in various Text replacement roles where all you have to do is click on the Latin text and start typing your own content.
The object of this practice is to show you the appearance of text in the space without your being distracted by the meaning of the text. It lets you give your full attention to the layout and texture of the page.
