Can I use Apple Card before it arrived in mail?
Can I use Apple Card before I receive it in the mail, as of course I have no Apple account number yet

To answer the question, yes you can make contactless purchases with your card using Apple Pay as long as the card information has been saved and added to your wallet. In order to make physical purchases you will need to wait until you receive and activate the card.
