no deleted folder in mail

Hi, new to MacBook... when using apple mail I can delete emails as standard, but I do not seem to be able to find a deleted folder. Where do I go if I need too check an email that i have deleted? thanks

Make sure Trash Mailbox is not hidden.

Mail > Sidebar > On My Mac

Move the mouse pointer to the right of "On My Mac"

Click the Reveal arrow.

"Trash" should be visible now.
