Locked note

Hi, I locked my note ages ago. I don't know the password as I've never used it (or needed it) because I always use Touch ID. Nevertheless, I've broke my screen yesterday so I'm now using 6S instead of 7. I need to unlock that note but I can't. I tried to reset the password for note but it didn't work, I tried to change the password (aparentally in this step the password whitch I stated with the reset note thing worked) but it didn't work. I've tried to on and off the touch ID for unlock note but when I tried to unlock it than, it never shows me even option to use tuoch id instead of password (and this wasn't showing before either). How can I fix this? Thank you.
