So both my brother and I have different Apple ID but if I want to download something or update an app it will use my brother’s Apple ID but you check at the Apple ID in the play store it is mine. Help anyone? It’s quite annoying when I want to update something but I have to asks my brother for his Apple ID password.

That means you used you brothers Apple id to download said app, and apps are tied to that apple id, which is why it is asking for his. If it annoys you don't use his Apple id, delete said app and redownload with your app, yes you'll probably lose the app data.
