I am trying to record cassette tapes to music CDs and have not been successful. I converted iTunes music to wav. files and recorded. CD player does not recognize them.
What is the simplest way to transfer music from cassettes to CD?

Did you successfully get the songs to appear as WAV files in your iTunes/Music library? if so, put them in a playlist and burn to audio CD:

I think in the one CD I made I converted them to WAV. The CD player checked the CD and couldn't play it.

In the Burn Disc dialog, did you make sure to set the "Disc Format" to "Audio CD"?
Audio CD is the only kind that will play in a "regular" CD player.
I checked file form in play list and cannot tell if they are WAV files. I think in the one CD I made I converted them to WAV. The CD player checked the CD and couldn't play it. I recorded the music on a Double cassette player copier that works with my Mac. Cassette player does not work on amplifier.
What do you suggest?
