On many occasions Iphone 12 gave a black screen and every time I managed to restart by pressing the UP-Down button and then the on/off button to the right and it worked. However, after several black screens and restarts I did a system restore but 2 days later I got the black screen again. Is there a cure - thx.

Since you have done a restore already, was it a restore from backup, or restore to factory? If it was not a restore to factory, try that, Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support and set the device up as new, not from a backup and see if it works. If you continue to have an issue, use the Get Support link at the top of the page here to contact Apple Support for service.

You're welcome. If you continue to get a black screen, then I would say it is not software, but hardware, and that is why I recommended you get in touch with Apple if it happens again.

Hello, I wanted to let you know that I went back to the initial service and they sent my iPhone to an Apple service center and I got a new phone, I asked around and everybody said it is a device problem, it is not related to the software or the data that you have.

Hello Chris. I did a Factory restore this morning and I haven't had any problems during the last 12 hours. Unfortunately this happens randomly so I will not know if the problem is resolved except after a few days. once again thanks for your assistance.

Sorry to hear that. I restored my IPhone 12 to factory settings 2 days ago and so far I have not had any black screens, but as you know this problem can happen randomly, so I am hoping to see that in the next few days I will not have any black screens, it seems that too many people are having this issue and Apple have to look into it seriously.

Thank you for your reply. I deleted some applications and reset and for the last 29 hours I did not charge my phone and my phone battery is back to normal. To be honest with you I don't have a good answer for the battery drain, but I am sure it happened after I downloaded 14.6
