I bought an apple watch. pops up that I can not connect because it is already paired. what to do ? on the phone it shows that I do not have to disconnect the apple watch from the previous iphone. and I have no contact with the previous owner

Apple watch bought from a friend I purchased a watch from a friend. The phone has been cleared but it will not pair with my phone. The response is….it looks like this watch is already paired with another phone. My friend has deleted this watch from her phone already.

The person that you bought this watch from needs to follow all the steps in this link;

Prepare the watch so the buyer can use it.

If they can't or won't then get your money back or recycle the watch and put it down to experience.
