how can I get passcode for setting up homepod

It only asks for a passcode during set up if you’re skipping trying to transfer settings by keeping your iOS device over the spinning white circle on top of HomePod. . You can set it up that way but if you prefer to Enter Passcode manually and need to hear the passcode, try asking Siri to speak louder or press the + on top of HomePod to turn volume up
