2012 MacBook Air - Boot Camp & trackpad not working after upgrade to Windows 10

I have a late 2012 MacBook Air, on which I've been running Windows 7 via Boot Camp since I bought it with out issues.

Today I finally got around to updating to Windows 10. Everything seemed to go well, except the trackpad doesn't work. I tried to start Book Camp, and get an error that it cannot be found. I look in my computer explorer program and can no longer see the MacOS partition!

I can boot into MacOS however, no problem. And I have tried downloading the Windows Support Software onto a USB via the MacOS side of things, but when trying to install it in Windows it gives an error saying it requires Windows 7...

I've tried everything else I've found in these forums related to this problem as well.

Perhaps I screwed up by upgrading my version of Windows from within the Windows partition, and should have used Boot Camp Assistant from the Mac side?

I guess I'm not too concerned about not being able to use Boot Camp while in Windows, but I assume that if that were working it would automatically update the touchpad drivers. But if anyone knows how I might otherwise get the trackpad working in Windows please let me know. (The trackpad works fine on the Mac side.)

On the macOS side, if you run BC Assistant -> Action -> Download, it should ask for a USB, which will be erased/formatted. The file structure should look similar to this.

If you use a Text Editor, Bootcamp.XML has

<ProductManufacturer>Apple Inc.</ProductManufacturer>
<ProductVersion>6.1.7866</ProductVersion>
<ProductCode>{FCFFE6B6-BAE8-490E-88D0-097A9DA1C43D}</ProductCode>

Can you post what you see in your file?
