iPhone 3GS - failure to reset HELP

I tried to download OS4. My computer and iphone froze halfway through. I rebooted my iphone and had to reset to factory settings. When I try this I get error messages (21, 1300). Please help. How can I check my security is off? Have tried Apple's trouble shooting suggestions. No luck.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.4.11), iPhone 3GS

Are you really using 10.4.11? That is too old for iOS 4. You can upgrade to Snow Leopard for $29.00

Woo Hoo. I 'restored to factory settings' my iphone on my friend's computer (with OS4). No problems. Then I re-installed on my lap top. No problems. Iphone working (with new system) like a dream with all apps/photos/contacts. Even remembers Angry Birds level. I am one happy girl.

Yep. But after this issue I will upgrade in the next couple of weeks.
