The back to app and left arrow that normally appeared on the upper left of the status bar when going to an app from another has disappeared. Now, the word “search” appears which after tapping takes you to blurry screen. Originally, you would have the name of the app you came from and was a quick way to navigate back. This started happening a couple of months ago and I can’t find anything in regards to that behavior. See below picture. It used to show “mail” before when I got to my browser from an email. What’s up?

Hi MikeNmid,

It looks like you're having issues returning to the previous app on your iPhone. If that's correct, let's try the following.

Restart your iPhone

Try restarting your iPhone.

Also, make sure you are using the latest version of iOS.

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

This should help.

Cheers.
