Due to small number of MacBook Pro '2010' models, 13/15/17"..

(Mactracker database shows 3; perhaps more, in Everymac site)

..to better define what you call a MacBook Pro 2010, to be sure?

The next upgrade required, would be hardware; a newer MB/Pro.

At least until 'Mid 2012' those all upgrade to High Sierra 10.13.6.

There are several upgrade links and pathways; shown below.

[All with few exceptions, use Safari browser to download these.]

macOS High Sierra 10.13 can upgrade Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, Mavericks, Mountain Lion

For download link to start 'download of the Installer' use Blue text. (Recommend read full site.)

A separate path exists to create an external Bootable installer.

You do not need a bootable installer to upgrade to later macOS.

With your MacBook Pro (2010) already on High Sierra: that's all, folks!🙃
