Safari doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected

Why can't Safari even do the simplest things like stock plots on CNBC? Seriously besides the annoying grey theme in the tabs that don't have any contrast to see what is open Apple can't even design a web browser that works on certain mainstream sites!

I go to Firefox BAM everything just works!! I thought that was the Apple slogan??

There was an issue with Safari 14.1 in an update the last week of April. Apple released a Safari

"14.1" fix May 4/5.  Have you checked for the latest update?

I have details on the issue, test to identify, work around and where to find the latest update here:

Read all postings, there is an update after the "Solution".

I hope this helps.

Sorry none of these robotic suggestions from Apple work to solve issues with Safari. I don't have third party apps and even did a fresh install of mac osx. The issue is Safari period or rather the Apple developers and not anything the user is doing . Will not even play embedded videos on CNBC at times and other times, when it does play, you get a warning that the "website is using significant memory"! Really? I get this on Netflix to occasionally and even tried it out on a new Mac at the Apple store with same results. The Mac is fine and OSX is great it's Safari that DOES NOT WORK!

FIREFOX JUST WORKS and it has more color and contrast! Maybe Apple should hire these developers!
