My iPhone is opening and switching apps on its own and I can not get it to stop. What should I do?

If it's opening apps when you're not touching it, that could be a sign of a failing touchscreen.

You can try removing its case and/or screen protector to see if that changes the behavior.

If not, click on Get Support in the upper right corner to reach out to Apple directly.
