Here’s what you have to do before trading in https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201065
If you’re photo’s are on iCloud, you’ll still be able to see them on your iPhone. You will also be able to see them on your new laptop after logging in on iCloud
To check now if they are on iCloud, you can go to www.iCloud.com and log in with your AppleID
