I want to update my iPad Pro 1st gen but I’m unable to update
How do I update my 1st gen iPad Pro to the latest ios14?

Connect to Wi-Fi, and Settings > General > Software Update
if that’s not getting you 14.5.1, what happens when you request the software update? Error messages?
And if not, might your iPad Pro 1st gen storage be too full for the update?
