Memoji "tap to resume"

I have updated still my memoji is not working and shows tap to resume I tried restarting as well

Animoji tap to resume error So one day when I was going to send an Animoji, it showed the red button for a second but then it went away. Then, under the Memoji it said “tap to resume”, and when I click it, it makes the Memoji do what I do for a single frame, and then it just goes back to tap to resume. I am on the latest software (IOS 16.5) and restarted my iPhone multiple times. I know how to make an Animoji and had done it numerous times before but this time it doesn’t work. And this didn’t happen just one time it’s every time now. I have the iPhone 14 pro max so there’s no reason it shouldn’t work. But I do have a screen protector on that dose not have a hole for the dynamic island. Please help with this.

Use Memoji on your iPhone or iPad Pro

Open Messages and tap the Compose button. to start a new message. Or go to an existing conversation.
Tap the Memoji button, then swipe right and tap the New Memoji. button.
Customize the features of your Memoji — like skin tone, hairstyle, eyes, and more.
Tap Done.
