updating a 2011 iMac

Hi - I have an iMac 27" Mid 2011, with 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, using OS High Sierra v 10.13.6

Is there any way I can update this to use more recent OS software and have more operating capacity?

Someone recently suggested that perhaps i could replace the hard drive with a chip.

Thanks!

No sorry, 10.13 High Sierra is the last macOS that your 2011 iMac supports.
