I have a Iphone 6s I have been trying to factory reset but I have forgotten the passcode. I have tried the instructions I found on the community to get to recovery mode but all I get is a message saying the phone is disabled. The computer doesn't even recognize the phone or Itunes. What else can I do?

Then you likely have a hardware issue, not software. The 6s is old, you can get it tested at an Apple Store for free but I would not spend much money on it as it will likely not be supported for much longer.
I am unable to open the phone at all. I have tried to open recovery mode and I have tried through a computer. No computer will recongnize the phone, iTunes will not find it, if I hold down home button until it goes off and on I always get a disabled for 15 mins message.
