Unable to use app after IOS14.5 Update

Hi. I received the above message when I accessing the app Passwords Manager Vault. When I look at the app store the developer has done nothing with the app over the last three years. What happens if I cant contact the developer re: the update required?

You can do nothing unless you kept a hardcopy of your passwords

Keychain was there for free and will never go away like so many of these poor apps.
