Live photo’s not recording sound when taken on facetime...?

On facetime, specifically on my Ipad the live photos taken by the other caller do not have any sound. However, when i facetime on my iphone and a photo is taken, it works. It seems to be on my end that my photos don’t play sound specifically taken on my ipad. i have looked through settings and tried seemingly everything to fix this issue but have found no answer or situation relating.
