Voice Memo partially lost after pause and resume during recording.

From your post it appears you are trying to recover part of a Voice Memo file that is missing.

We would suggest sharing the Voice Memo with another device and see if the same thing happens there.

If it does, then most likely there was an issue during recording and it will not be able to be recovered.

Unfortunately it sounds like there was a malfunction in the recording and it is not going to be able to be recovered.

If Voice Memos for iCloud was not enabled, and there is a backup available from after the recording was made, and before you discovered the problem, you could try and restore the backup and see if the file is better.

Tap on Settings > [your name] > iCloud. If Voice Memos is toggled on, then the file would not have been included in a backup and this method would not be available.

Keep in mind that if you restore a backup, any data that was on the device since that backup was created will be removed. If there is data you are going to need, be sure to back up the iPhone to another location to avoid overwriting the backup you are trying to restore.
