iMessages on Macbook Air

For some reason, my iMessages won't work with 1 of my contacts. All my other contacts are able to receive my messages but one, and just one, of my contacts cannot receive them. I keep getting a message saying that it was unable to deliver and I even tried to send it as a text message and it wont go through. Does anyone else have the same issue or is there a way to fix this?

Does this one recipient have an iPhone? If not, then texts would need to be sent by SMS ... and for that to work, you would need to use Apple Continuity's SMS Relay feature between your notebook and your iPhone.
