Why is there no apple support for Iceland?

Iceland is never in the dropdown list of countries, and if I go through apple's help pages, I have to claim that I am in another country to reach chat support.

I had a problem with Apple Pay. I spent two hours trying to reach a person, finally succeding when I claimed to be in the UK, but the person on the line couldn't tell me why Apple Pay wasn't working in Iceland.

The only point of contact this system offers is the repair shop in a local apple store. I've been there, they're fine at repairing devices, as far as that goes, but they are both hard to reach and unlikely to have answers to every problem of the modern apple ecosystem, and understandably so.

But also, it's just pretty unnerving to not be on the dropdown list.

I started writing this post this because I was submitting a feature request. And I have to pretend to be in the US. Haven't been there in years.

The British Virgin Islands, with a population of 30.000 get on the list, but Iceland doesn't.

And there is no "other" option. Since Apple are omitting countries, there could at least be that.

I pay as much as the next person for my apple stuff. Why can't I get the same support?
