Does my iPhone have a virus

about a week ago I opened a site and a clicked on 2 pop ups saying I had a virus about 10 minutes apart from each other I clicked on them and I believe they both told me to download a app I didn’t download any apps and I didn’t put in any info one of the pop ups took me to a different site it displayed the same message but just full screen my question is my phone infected with malware or am I ok I was one update behind when it happened if that changes anything
