Why my family member is unavailable for sharing Apple Card?

The person I am trying to share with is also an adult, and I have made sure they are running 14.6 on all iOS devices. I successfully shared to a younger child, but cannot share to this one still.

Erin_B11, not a helpful answer, sadly. I added myself to the dozens who have the same question, and the links you provided do not help solve this issue of adding family who has latest iOS and is an adult.

Sadly, I’ve physically checked it myself to make sure both the iPhone and iPad belonging to my kid who I want to add are updated. They are. I’ve had them restart their devices. No dice. He still shows up as unavailable. :-(

I shared with my other kid just fine.

Same issue. All family members are grayed out and can’t be added. All are adults in family group. What is the issue?

Turns out my family members had not upgraded to iOS 14.6. Once they did I was able to add them to my Apple Card.

@thematteartist Not sure it matters but all of us are using the iPhone 12 and sharing across that platform.

I am having the same issue. I can add my minor son but for some reason my adult daughter I cannot.

Okay, it turned out my family member had not updated her iOS to the required version.
