logic control jog wheel?

Hi! been trying to find out how to get jog wheel to snap to start of bar rather than to division i stopped sequencer at e.g if i stop at say the 5th 16th of a bar and move to next bar with jog it snaps to same , pain?? thanks Ronny.

G5 2GHz, Mac OS X (10.3.9), logic pro 7.1.1 1.5gb ram. 828mk2

Ronny,

Try adjusting the snap value in Logic. If it is set to "smart" then the snap value intelligently changes with the present zoom resolution. So, if you want your MCU jog wheel to snap to the next bar change the snap value in logic to "bar" or adjust your zoom resolution.

I just recently sold my MCU so I don't exactly remember how to change all of the settings.

Also, you can go to Logic Pro, Preferences, Control Surfaces, Preferences and see if the "jog resolution depends on horizontal zoom" is enabled.
