I am trying to set up an "escape game" for a birthday party. I have an iphone 12, an Apple TV device, and a 9 year old Samsung TV.
Am I able to use screen mirroring to take a video in room 1 and simultaneously broadcast it to the TV in room 2 next door?
And is there an easier or better method?
You can AirPlay Screen Mirror the Camera app on your iPhone (actually recording is not needed per se), but it will show the app controls as well. There will be black pillars left and right from the iPhone app interface, and additional letterbox bars to adapt the iPhone screen size to a 16:9 screen.
A ‘cleaner’ presentation requires a dedicated third party app for this functionality. I have no recommendations though.
