Go step by step and test.

1. Update Safari, if an update is available. Update may come with bug fixes.

2. Quit Safari, launch Safari holding the Shift key down.

3. Startup in Safe Mode. https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/start-up-your-mac-in-safe-mode-mh21245/mac.

It also does a basic check of your startup disk, similar to using First Aid in Disk Utility

And it deletes some system caches, including font caches and

the kernel cache, which are automatically created again as needed.

Hello,

I tried to update everything and it went away for 2 days then it came back. It got to the point that i broke one of my machine in frustration.

Now its the same with my 2nd machine and LORD FORBID if these apple guys can help resolve anything. I don't know at this point what to do i just leave it like that, and don't click ok so it stays in the background as it is and doesn't pop up again and again. I am definitely moving to surface pro after this **** show. Extremely disappointed and frustrated and this community and apple guys are worse than anything and doesn't have any solution or won't even help.

Good luck with this

I'm experiencing the same situation on Catalina since Safari 14 was released, and I've been submitting all of the crash reports to Apple. It seems to only stop happening once I disable all Safari extensions. As soon as I re-enable any of the extensions, the multiple SafariPlugInUpdateNotifier Quit notifications happen again within a day (or until I reboot).

Annoying!

Fix this please.
