After connecting iPhone to MacBook via USB cable, and selecting iPhone in a Finder window, if we add files from the Mac to an app in the iPhone, under the 'Files' tab in syncing pane, will those files also be included in the iPhone backup?

If they are under certain Apps then it will get backed up too. All App data is backed up.

Would that mean if I use any iPhone app to backup a file from my Mac (via copy-paste thru USB), it will take the twice the space on my Mac?
