Suspected Static (when charging) causing my Touch ID to not work

Hello, I am having a problem as mentioned in my title. So the whole issue is as such:

When I attached my power cable to the MacBook and turn on the electricity, I am not able to unlock my Mac using my touchID. But as soon as I disconnect the cable, the Touch ID works. Not once, or twice but every time it is able to do so. So I am suspecting static or something is having some interferences here. Please help me on this one.
This is a minor issue. When my Mac is charging and when I am using it to type, I can feel a bit of like 'magnetic or static' feeling on the metal surface beside the track pad.

These two problems I think are related to statics or something. How can I resolve this issue? And fyi I have already use 3 pin socket, so I presume the whole thing is "earthed".

It could be...sometimes electrical outlets are not wired correctly. This is why you need to try others in your home. If they all exhibit the same symptom, try the outlets in a different building. If the other building's outlets do NOT exhibit the symptom, you can be fairly certain that the wiring in your home or that one particular outlet is not correct.

I would try a different outlet in your home.

Also try plugging into a power strip.

If trying a different outlet (or numerous others in your home) or power strip doesn't resolve the issue, try the MacBook plugged in to a building other than your home. If it works correctly in a different building, chances are very good that some aspect of your house wiring is not correct. In this case, you'd likely need to have an electrician check out the wiring.

Oh, sounds like a good alternative as well.

I will try a direct outlet as well since now I am not a power extender .

I will try a outlet in my living room as well.

So you are implying the static is also because of the source of electricity? :)
